How to get to JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel Fukuoka

 

 

 

For those who are flying in to Fukuoka Airport:  

It is convenient to take a No. 39 Nishitetsu bus from the domestic terminal of the airport and get off at the Sea Hawk Hotel Mae bus stop (literally translated as 'in front of the Sea Hawk Hotel'). . It takes about 20 minutes and costs 420 JPY. See Timetable 2. (Those who will be arriving at the international terminal should first take a shuttle bus that takes you to the domestic terminal. This service is free of charge. See Timetable 1.)

Notice: No. 39 buses do not run during the afternoon on weekends. You might need to find a different way if you will be flying in to Fukuoka on Saturday or Sunday.

For those who are getting to Hakata Station by train:  

We recommend taking a No. 306 Nishitetsu bus from Fukuoka Local Bus Terminal (Fukuoka Kotsu Center in Japanese) close to the station and get off at the Yahoo Dome Mae bus stop (literally translated as 'in front of the Yahoo dome'). It takes about 18 minutes and costs 220 JPY. See Map 3 and Timetable 4. 

You will find other ways to reach the hotel in Chart 2 from the station.

Some remarks on transportation:

• Bus users should remember that only 1000 JPY bills or coins can be exchanged on board.
• When you catch a taxi at Fukuoka Airport or Hakata Station and tell the driver that you want to go to the Sea Hawk Hotel Fukuoka, the driver may ask you if you take the Fukuoka Expressway (Fukuoka Toshi Kosoku in Japanese). It costs an extra 600 JPY and prevents you from getting stuck in a (possible) traffic jam around the center of the city.
