摘要:          A multitude of freeform surface products utilized in aerospace or shipbuilding industries are manufactured to satisfy the desirables of specific physics and kinematics functions. Therefore, the corresponding milling mode should be carefully designed with indispensable consideration of both the geometry and functionality of the product.   This presentation will first give an overview on recent development in tool path generation that aim to address the manufacturing efficiency challenge. In particular, we demonstrate computational fluid dynamics could present an opportunity for generating milling tool paths along the streamlines of flow directions. Further, the constant scallop machining and the directions with maximum strip width is also employed, which could optimize a more efficient initial tool path from a slice of feasible streamlines. A compressor blade simulation and machining result demonstrates the possible advantages of the proposed method.

姜鑫,男,博士,北京航空航天大学数学与系统科学学院副教授,数学、信息与行为教育部重点实验室副主任,德国海德堡大学欧洲交叉科学研究中心DAAD访问学者、美国西北大学工程与应用数学系访问学者。主持承担多项国家级科研项目, 目前的研究方向包括复杂曲面先进制造技术、复杂系统的结构与功能分析等领域。当前在国际一流期刊发表论文40余篇,拥有国家发明专利6项,获教育部自然科学一等奖。
